By empowering women and girls through access to education and skills training, the lives of individuals, families, and whole communities can be improved. Through this program we provide girls with guidance, training and resources that will prepare them for career success.rovides girls with access to professional role models, career education and resources to live their dreams. The topics covered in the curriculum include identifying career opportunities, setting and achieving goals, and knowing how to move forward after setbacks or failures

 

 

 

EMPOWER

Around the world, girls face similar obstacles: self-esteem, body image, family obligations and expectations, abuse and exploitation, violence and bullying, and insufficient adult and peer support.​ Our solution would be to inspire adolescent girls to overcome these obstacles by encouraging them to be resilient, letting them know they’re not alone, or sharing words of wisdom that helped you overcome obstacles.

 

STOP THE VIOLENCE

1 in 4 women have experienced severe violence by an intimate partner in their lifetime. By taking action, raising awareness, speaking up, helping a friend at risk and acting as an engaged bystander, we can work together to help women live free from violence. Domestic violence isn’t restricted to the home. 74% of employed domestic violence victims say they have been harassed by their abusive partner while at work.Employers and employees can play a supportive and positive role for co-workers who are experiencing domestic violence. Make safe resources available and advocate for formal guidelines designed to protect employees and co-workers from domestic violence.

Program Requirements

  • Weekly email contact

  • Four (quarterly) Virtual or Face-to-Face meetings

  • One group mentoring activity

  • One year commitment
